When facing cancer or caring for someone who is, the journey can often feel overwhelming. The Journey through Cancer community provides a platform for those who have traveled or are traveling along this path to share their collective wisdom and offer guidance.
Dr. Boulay’s recent performance of “You’d Be Do Nice To Come Home To” by Cole Porter. This song let off a discussion of intimacy in cancer survivorship at the recent Survivor Summit Cancer Support Community Greater Lehigh Valley. About 60% of the cancer survivors present described some change in intimacy after their cancer diagnosis. There was also a general agreement that few professional services were available to help heal this wound.
